    🏺 Bagore Civilization (Mandal Tehsil, Bhilwara).


    • 🌊 This civilization is located on the banks of the Kothari River.

    • 🔍 Small stone tools and other archaeological materials have been found here.
    • 🛠️ Excavation (1967-68):

      • Virendra Nath Mishra and L.S. Leshni (Germany).


    • 🐂 The oldest evidence of agriculture and animal husbandry in Rajasthan.
    • 🌾 It is considered the richest Stone Age civilization in India.
    • 🏛️ Bagore is also referred to as the “Museum of Primitive Culture.”


    🗿 Jahazpur Civilization (Shahpura, Bhilwara).

    🏛️ Remains of the Mahabharata period civilization have been found here.


    🐄 Ojiyana Civilization (Badanor-Bewar, Bhilwara).


    • 🗿 This is related to the Copper Age Ahar culture.
    • 🏞️ Location:

      • It is located near Badanor in the Beawar district.
      • It is situated on a hill, whereas other Ahar sites are in river valleys.


    • 🐂 Important Discoveries:

      • A small clay statue of a cow (Meenkruti).


    • 🔍 Excavation (2000-2001):

      • Archaeological Survey of India, Jaipur Region (B.R. Meena and Alok Tripathi).



    🏛️ Nagri Civilization (Chittorgarh).


    • 📜 Ancient Name: Madhyamika/Majjhimika/Nagri.
    • 📖 This place is mentioned in both the Mahabharata and Mahabhashya.
    • 🛠️ Excavation (1904):

      • Dr. Bhandarkar.


    • 🔍 1962:

      • Extensive excavation by the Central Archaeological Department.


    • 🏺 Coins of the Shivi Janapada were found here.

    🏞️ Gilund Civilization (Rajsamand).


    • 🛠️ Its excavation was conducted by Shri B.B. Lal in 1957-58.
    • 🌟 Developed on the banks of the Banas River, a Copper Age civilization.
    • 🏯 The mound located here, called Modiya Nagari, is associated with the organized Gilund civilization.
    • 🧱 Extensive use of baked bricks was found here.
    • ❌ No evidence of baked bricks was found in Ahar.

    🏞️ Civilizations Discovered in Tonk.

    🗿 Raidh / Rahad Civilization (Niwai Tehsil, Tonk).


    • 🌊 Located on the banks of the Dheela River.
      🔍 Excavation (1938-39):

      • Dayaram Sahni and
      • In 1938-40, Dr. K.N. Puri (Kedarnath Puri) conducted excavation in Niwai Tehsil.


    • 🛕 Important Discoveries:

      • Statue of the Mother Goddess and a statue of Gajamukhi Yaksha.
      • Asia’s largest hoard of coins:

        • Coin of Apollodotus and Indo-Sassanian currency.




    • It is also referred to as the “Tata Nagar of Ancient India.”

    🏛️ Nagar Civilization (Uniyara Town, Tonk).


    • 📜 Ancient Name: Malwa Pradesh.
    • 🏛️ This civilization is located near Uniyara town.
    • 🏛️ The discovery of this town was made 150 years ago by the British archaeologist A.C.L. Carlisle.
    • 📜 It is believed to be the capital of the Malwa Janapada during that time.
    • 🪙 Coins:

      • “Nagwaha Mahajya” and “Nagwaha Jaya.”
      • It was named “Nagar” due to these coins.


    • 🔍 Excavation (1938-40):

      • Under the direction of Dr. K.N. Puri, near Uniyara town.


    • Malwa and Ahata coins and Gupta period inscriptions were found.
